This Amateur Radio Club has been founded by M0TIW (Allan) and G1VGM (Simon) in honour of Douglas Byrne in his memory. For all the good work which Douglas put into Amateur Radio over the years.

We are licensed by the RSGB to take all the Amateur Radio Licence Examinations Advanced, Intermediate, Foundation at the Rosemary Vineyard, Ashey, Isle of Wight as long as all the Assessments have been completed by a Registered Instructor.

We are hoping to be holding Special Event Stations and some good old DX from locations around the Isle of Wight in the summer, trying out different Antenna's as well as the locations, we are in the process of setting up Digital Modes for PSK31 and SSTV, we have just updated www.qrz.com and will be putting some more information up about the club, and finding a suitable QSL card shortly, anyone who has more information about Douglas Byrne and is interested in helping with any of the events please email.
